Currency exchange-rate lookup and conversion for Money values

Installation

composer require ez-php/exchange

Usage

Static rate table (tests, or a self-maintained table)

use EzPhp\Exchange\Converter;
use EzPhp\Exchange\StaticExchangeRateProvider;

Historical/time-series rates are out of scope.

Historical rates

Convert at the rate of a past day, e.g. an invoice's issue date:

StaticHistoricalExchangeRateProvider takes a ['2026-01-02' => ['EUR' => ['USD' => '1.10']]] table; a day without an entry (weekend, holiday) uses the latest earlier rate.

Caching a provider

Requires ez-php/cache (a soft dependency — declared in require-dev here, install it separately in applications that want this decorator).
