README
Social Login for Craft CMS
Social Login is a Craft CMS plugin that lets people use an established provider account to sign in, register, or connect to a Craft user. Keep account mapping and profile data in Craft while offering a faster authentication path on the site or control panel.
Offer selected OAuth providers on front-end login and registration screens, or on the Craft control-panel login. New identities can create Craft users, while existing users can connect a provider to the account they already use.
Features
- Authenticate with supported social and identity services.
- Create a Craft account when an authenticated identity is new.
- Match an existing Craft user by email or another mapped attribute.
- Add newly registered users to nominated Craft user groups.
- Decide how Craft activation and verification apply to provider registrations.
- Attach another provider to an existing signed-in user.
- Bring selected provider profile values into Craft user fields.
- Offer provider login on the public site or Craft login screen.
- Use a connected provider API from project modules and templates.
