FireHub Application
The application lifecycle and orchestration runtime for the FireHub Framework, providing structured application initialization, lifecycle management, and component coordination.
Designed as a shared, edition-agnostic runtime component for Standard, Professional, and Enterprise applications.
About FireHub
FireHub is a modular PHP framework built around:
- Clean Architecture
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Explicit boundaries between Core, Adapters, and Modules
- Long-term maintainability and scalability
FireHub is designed for building enterprise-grade PHP applications without sacrificing clarity or developer experience.
Repository Purpose
FireHub Application provides application-level lifecycle management and orchestration for the FireHub Framework. It coordinates application initialization, configuration, readiness, and termination while delegating fundamental runtime lifecycle operations to the FireHub Kernel.
Its responsibilities include:
- Application lifecycle — managing application configuration, initialization, readiness, failure, and shutdown independently of the underlying Kernel lifecycle.
- Bootstrap orchestration — executing application-specific initialization components in a controlled order.
- Termination orchestration — coordinating application-specific cleanup before the underlying Kernel shuts down.
- Application context — providing application identity, environment, and execution metadata.
- Service integration — coordinating application service registration and initialization through dedicated runtime components.
- Configuration integration — preparing and exposing application configuration during initialization.
- Module integration — coordinating optional application modules and capabilities through explicit contracts.
FireHub Application uses the FireHub Kernel for fundamental runtime initialization and termination. The Kernel remains independent of application-specific behavior, allowing other runtime components, such as workers and schedulers, to reuse the same infrastructure.
FireHub Application does not implement HTTP routing, console commands, background job processing, dependency resolution, or business logic. These responsibilities belong to dedicated adapters, runtime components, and application modules.
The Application runtime is edition-agnostic and supports Standard, Professional, and Enterprise applications through the contracts and extensions provided by their respective Core editions.
