Shared Magento admin utilities for Inspeya modules.

Module update notifications (all Inspeya modules)

BackendMod is the single place for update checks. Individual modules need no extra code.

  1. Module is listed in Model/Feed/Config::MODULE_PROJECTS
  2. Module is installed on the store
  3. Its GitLab project is public
  4. You create a newer Release/Tag than the installed composer.json version

Then Magento shows an Admin Notification (and lists updates under Inspeya → Inspeya Notifications).

Release (any module)

  1. Bump "version" in that module’s composer.json
  2. Tag/Release on GitLab (1.0.1 or v1.0.1)
  3. Done — no feed file, no per-module notification code

New module later

Add one row to MODULE_PROJECTS in BackendMod and release BackendMod. Example:
