Create product meta descriptions longer than 255 characters, while keeping the original meta description as is.

Installation

composer require mooore/magento2-module-longmetadescription
bin/magento setup:upgrade --keep-generated

Usage

You can fill in the product attribute Long Meta Description in the tab Search Engine Optimization.

If you don't fill the attribute provided by this module: no problem, the original way of rendering meta descriptions will be used.
