Client for event store TCP Api

Build Status Stories in Ready

Requirements

  • Protobuf extension need to be installed, you can find it here protobuf-allegro. It is very fast library for building stream data ready to send over sockets.

      Installation:
      1. git clone git@github.com:allegro/php-protobuf.git
      2. Enter the catalog with protobuf
      3. phpize && ./configure && sudo make install
      4. Add extension to your php.ini `extension = protobuf.so` 
    

Example usage

Can be found here If you have running event store instance and protobuf extension installed, you can replace gethostbyname('es') in usages with your ES's IP.
Otherwise if you don't have running instance of event store. You can run it by using docker.
With following command: docker-compose up and log in to the php+protobuf container by using command:

  • docker exec -it eventstoreclient_php-protobuf_1 /bin/bash
  • php /var/www/usage/usageExample.php
